Bijules was born in the club in the early 2000’s. The culture of downtown New York seeped into each jewelry design and its messaging. There was a real feeling of togetherness back then and not until now, have we been obligated to unite. We unite to overcome.
As an independent jewelry designer and female minority business owner, I believe the success of the Bijules brand has been contingent on cultural context, innovation, and overall impact. You, the client, represent the seed of an altruistic message, be it by purchasing a unique piece of fashion jewelry; commissioning a bespoke project; or getting involved in our global community. Today, I’d like to offer a few options to cultivate this artistic process and belief system.
Instead of panic selling and downplaying our new reality, lets talk. Let’s envision a dream jewel, a modern heirloom set with your grandmother’s pearls. Let’s create a custom engagement ring inspired by your couple’s story then and now. Let’s design a gold mouthpiece that will strengthen your voice in style. These ideas will be what comes next, the seedling for an actual piece of unique jewelry.
I focus on made-to-order and custom jewelry design. The design consultation is an extremely important aspect of my creative process. The final result of a design consult is a fully-bloomed bijoux; in the meantime, sketches and IP can be shared by both parties.
Gift certificates will be made available for those who’d like to support this female-operated minority small business. All purchases are considered pre-orders.
Stay safe and united!
All the very best,
Owner/Designer of Bijules
